Apparently, the US Air Force recently stated that they will miss the 2020 deadline for ADS-B equipage. This deadline applied to most airspace in the US – ie. terminal areas and airspace above 10,000 ft.
I was unaware the US military was affected by (or planning to comply with) the mandate. Apparently they are which is good news for aircraft spotters everywhere. The article is linked below.
