Running on standard raspbian bullseye (not the ADSB image) installed via the script method. I noticed mlat basically hasnt been running since bullseye was installed. I ran the adsb upgrade script commands to make sure something wasn't out of date. Did not resolve the issue and the output said to report the issue here. The feed client has been running fine.

I have a raspberry pi with piaware on it and I am also feeding adsbexchange on both 1090 and 978, I have a VPN that is on my router and the raspberry pi is off the VPN. My macbook is on the VPN. When I run the web base stats program it shows that I am not feeding adsbexchange but the local maps from my raspberry pi work. If I take the macbook off the VPN then it will show that I am feeding. Could be because I installed both adsbx via script and tar1090 via script, not sure. What I am sure of is that opening http://192.168.1.4/tar1090/ opens tar1090 interface and it appears as I would expect. However, opening http://192.168.1.4/adsbx/ (which opens its own instance of 1090, I think) shows me having 56 aircraft in range, same as the other instance, yet they all show as Mode-S receptions and there are precisely zero aircraft in the display. I'm running the ADBS image on a Pi. Can I get my receiver/feed status as JSON or similar on a local URL?

I'm looking for info similar to https://www.adsbexchange.com/myip/ and/or http://localhosr/info/ but in both cases not only local but also as JSON rather than a webpage.

This may be a dumb question so I will accept dumb answers. I live in what some might call "the boonies" and have had a horrible ISP the whole time. After being on the Starlink waitlist for a year, they offered me "best effort" service. I accepted. It's orders of magnitude better than the other guys.

I noticed that on my anywhere map, the bullseye is centered on south Dallas, like it should be since that's where my public IP resolves to. And my tracked aircraft are where they're supposed to...

I did a fresh install of ADS-B Exchange and setup FlightAware using http://adsbexchange.local/otherfeeds/

Flightaware is receiving the planes, but not the ads-b or mlat data. All the plane data is going under 'other'. Everything is green on the status page of flightaware. No errors in log files on adsbexchange.

Error when running script to change location

Hi,
Yesterday I tried to run the script to change my location of my feeder as I had moved house. It appears to compile the new version and then throws an error when it tries to start the feeder. On https://www.adsbexchange.com/myip/ it shows that it has a feeder connection but no mlat. I have put a copy of the console error from the script below.

I'm using a Flight Feeder Orange from FlightAware as my main tracker.

I'm running a separate Raspi 0W with FR24 and ADSBx feeders connected on the BEAST port on the FA Orange feeder.

I'm seeing the following in the logs for adsbx mlat feed:

Feed ADSBx with json messages?

Good Day. I've got a couple of Uavionix devices available, that are able to output JSON messages via UDP. Is it possible to feed into ADSB exchange that way?

I don't have access to the OS, or the ability to add or setup the feeder client.

I´m short before stopping feeding to adsbexchange. It´s feeding all the day and night since years... and when i will have a fast look to the sky without going to the window this annoying screen appears. Even when i log in a few weeks later same game... it will be uncomfortable and i think an adblock-advice isn´t really necessary and shows, that a site-owner will not respect privacy. I will not support this...

My Pi3 died a year ago and finally got my hands on a Pi4. Did a fresh install of adsbexchange imagine and added the flightaware feed. I can't get any data with my outdoor antenna. When I hooked up a small indoor antenna, it works. Is there a gain setting or something I'm missing for an outdoor antenna?

I've seen mention of ADSBX top feeders and methods and hardware that can get you there. But is there an official recognition of the top feeders of ADSBX somewhere? Most planes tracked, length of service, widest coverage, best location?

Dumb 978 map view question

My feeder has been so reliable I almost never bother to look at a local view of what's going on.

If I look at the locally hosted map view at http://192.168.4.29/adsbx/ all is well. I dimly recall there was a separate URL for seeing the 978 feed. Can't remember it and for whatever reason, my google skills fail me today. Any help? Thanks,

ADSBx image also feeding FR24 & RB - what is fix-config.conf?

I added FR24 and RB to my ADSBx image following the instructions on those respective sites. Both are running successfully. Curiously rbfeeder.service.d and fr24feed.service.d both contain a drop-in to run /usr/local/bin/fix-config.sh. That script appears to mess around with the configuration of both those other vendor's products. I'm guessing this is added by the ADSBx image but I'm curious as to why.

I also deleted the FR24 cron task that runs their updates. I prefer not to use...

My feeder is near one of my favorite airports. Any concerns that I've named my feeder after that airport. It's not officially the airport's feed nor located there. I'm about 10 miles away and the closest feed in the area.
