I enjoy plane spotting at manchester airport, when I get chance. I live five miles away from Humberside airport. I also enjoy what I call scanner aircraft spotting, which is a bonus for people who dont live near a airport/ airbase. I do this by tuning into a frequency of choice, eg 126.78mhz (London Control North Sea), and make a note of the callsign of each aircraft. I then track down the relevent information like, type, airline / squadron , registration, hight and squawk ect ect.. This is done by ADS mapping and using books if needed like Civil / Military aircraft markings. I also have a intrest in photography of aircraft and general photography.
