ADSBx is not FlightAware. We don't have the budget or the time to setup a SDR length measuring contest server.

However as @MDA noted above - the Pi feeder image linked to has a Grafana dashboard built in and all kinda of neat features that sites like FlightAware restrict from users.

I'm not a wizard at this like you guy's I need instructions...

Everything you need is new microSD card, card reader and PC. When image burned to card edit adsb-config.txt in /boot partition, insert card into Pi, insert receiver stick and power it on.
It doesn't need special skills.

No, you'll need to install additional feeders.

I feel like i had to work so hard to get it feeding FR24, FAware,Pfinder, and then adsb I have doubts about changing anything.....
I guess I could burn the image to try it out but the prospect of getting all the feeds up again is not appetizing.

You will burn image on new card, no risk at all. Adding other feeders should not take more than 1 hour.

yeah I guess you are right but it will take more than an hour for sure. I get so confused..

I had to buy a new pi 3b to get the first feed running for some reason my pi 2b wouldn't do it.

Not important, you can start with FA. Don't install any other dump1090.

In my adsb-config.txt file I fill in Lat Lon
Altitude
adsbcustomport
adsbxname
wifi ssid
wifi password
that's all....
do I have to modify anything else in the raspberry pi?

Also do I use Putty to ssh

both at the command prompt and in nano

You can edit this file on your PC. Boot partition is accessible under windows or OSx.

you are leaving out something simple but vital

what about the port 3226 and port 3000 stuff

3226 is used for SSH, on 3000 Grafana dashboard is serving data.
