    Hello,

I have searched the forums but couldn't find a post in this regard.

When looking at my syslog I see for one of my feeders there is a report that it is requesting data too often.

    The error is :
    429 To Many requests
You have sent too many request in a given amount of time.

I'm not aware of a increased request mechanism.
I already reinstalled the client in order to get it back to default settings but to no avail.
Is there something I can do to have this error corrected ?
All other feeders don't report this issue.

    Many thanks in advance.

How many clients are you running?
    Don't run unnecessary many clients.

I have 6 feeders all reporting from the same IP address. All have ADSBexchange clients and statistics packages installed. Error is only appearing on one of them

Just ... run less clients, or is that 6 distinct locations?

Also unless you need the online feed map, the stats package is unnecessary.

It are 6 distinct locations indeed.
Stats packages are removed now, will keep an eye on the logs to see if it goes away now.

I've raised the limit a bit ... you might not see an issue even with the stats packages.

Thanks for all the feeds :0

The error was from the stats package ... feed and mlat are TCP and not http and would show connection refused ... but they shouldn't even with quite a few feeds.

Then I'll install the stats packages again :), feeding to you guys is the least i can do, surely you will have enough feeders is my area but still it might add to the global coverage ;)

We don't need the stats package, it's just for your convenience to have the online maps.

The errors aren't harmful either, it will just mean a slower update rate for the feed map you can find at /myip

The online maps are usefull to compare the coverage with the different feeders.
I know the errors aren't harmfull but I also don't want to throw massive numbers of requests from a specific feeder from the set-up to the server.
Also I like to keep the logs clean so that's why the question was there in the first place.
