I found this useful online tool for antenna siting, and as a comparison to what your antenna will "see" for range in the real world at 2 different altitudes you set (I did 10000 and 30000'). I'm surrounded by hills and am going to remote my feeder off the roof to a nearby hill. This tool does what I used to do with TopoUSA, until Win10 broke it. SEE: HeyWhatsThat I ran it for my current feeder location at 100' AMSL and the 550' AMSL point that is 1100' line of site away and all on vacant land. The range improvement is dramatic, When this new rig works, I'll post what I bought for the package. Happy Feeding!
