    Hi everybody,

    I'm new on adsbexchange
I was before (and still yet) on adshub for feeding and sharing data.

I have a pi-aware station (with pi-aware software -raspbian based), with no GUI.
I would like to get data using my laptop which has a different IP adress to my station. Despite my tests, I can't manage to get access to data (i follow the instructions given by tutorials - testing my IP and then by API REST request).

    Any idea?

    Best regards,

    WL

    OK, thanks.

So, I have to do that on my raspberry (what I already did it) and my laptop (not yet)?

Do you have an API key? Maybe you didn't read the complete page:
    https://www.adsbexchange.com/data/

Getting a key usually takes some time after you send the request.

    Thanks Wiedehopf,

OK I understand now. I've just ask for an API Key.

Thanks a lot and have a nice day

is there any estimate of how long one should expect to wait for an API key? I've been waiting for about 2 months.

Depends on if you sent the correct information.

If it didn't have what was asked then I just ignore. If people can't provide required information they can go pay FA $40,000 USD a month for the same data.

    Hi James -
I provided the output of the cat and curl commands run on the feeder as requested

I'm just trying to understand if I need to wait longer or resubmit. Believe it or not, the goal of my post was to be considerate and avoid submitting duplicate requests if my request is still in a queue.

Resend. I get 100's of emails ... most require sorting as it seems people can't be bothered to read a paragraph.
