    1) Given my implementation, how would you set up a more reliable method than the pipe? I have looked through the script above (convert.sh) and don't know what port I would use to specify raw data to STDOUT coming from dump978. Is using that type of script more reliable than the pipe method I currently have working?

    2) Regarding sponsorship at our airport, what is ADSBExchange able to offer for equipment? I'm looking to set up at two airports (KPVB and KDBQ) and would like to keep a the pi I'm currently using for development. Thanks.

I'm using a modified implementation of TomMuc1 / Dump1090-MySQL-Alert-Filter radar.php to send data for my own purposes. Do you see any issue setting this up with php, sendmail, mariadb, etc. on top of the ADSBx image? If this will save me some development time and pain, it might be a good approach.

I don't see any issues. ADSBX image is just Raspbian, we don't replace the repos etc etc

Ok. I can give it a go. How do we go about getting the equipment here?

Send me email and I'll get building the kit. I'll need to know how much coax you need.

James, I have a temporary setup installed at KPVB using a 1090-978 combo antenna and a 1090-978 splitter feeding two Radar Box flight sticks. One is for 1090 and the other 978. I'm using the ADSB-X image and believe I've configured everything properly. I'm not getting any UAT traffic on the tar1090 map. I have a known UAT plane that is located and active on the field here and I don't even see it's data. I've got a range of about 250nm for the other 1090 traffic. The SDR's have been defined as device 0= 1090 and device 1=978. How can I test to see if the 978 side of the device is working properly?

    What's your IP?

Did you change ssh password? I'll see if I can see what's up based on the data it's sending.
