I have a raspberry pi with piaware on it and I am also feeding adsbexchange on both 1090 and 978, I have a VPN that is on my router and the raspberry pi is off the VPN. My macbook is on the VPN. When I run the web base stats program it shows that I am not feeding adsbexchange but the local maps from my raspberry pi work. If I take the macbook off the VPN then it will show that I am feeding. But I want the macbook to be on the VPN all the time. I have concluded that the reason the web based program indicates I am not feeding is because it is on a different IP address. Is there a program that runs on the raspberry pi that shows stats? If so, where do I find it? Thanks.
Well that's how a VPN works. Open the feeder ui page using the LAN IP of the feeder on any device on the local network.
