Another strange one

    This one popped up earlier today here in Southern California. It went as high as 70,000' before it descended.
    It dropped of my receiver around 38,000' Maybe a balloon of some type. Not the plane shown in the photo.

    I had the same hex and ID showing up with lat long in Washington DC last night, much lower altitude though and no indications of actually moving.

    That's not a valid hex code. I've seen miscoded transmissions pretty often in my area (DC region). I'm not sure if it's intentional or just a receive error.

    Could be a drone launched from up around Palmdale/Edwards AFB/Mojave
