Just spotted another unidentified aircraft: https://globe.adsbexchange.com/?ica...85&zoom=11.9&showTrace=2022-03-14&trackLabels Callsign is DASA08. This points me towards EADS (the successor of DASA). They're the manufacturer of Eurofighters, so I suspect this is a Eurofighter. What makes it interesting is that it reached a top speed of 1007 kts, after accelerating away ESE from my location from 60-100 nm. (Hey, I'm not that scary! ;-)) If I read about the boom in the news, I'll post an update (and a link)
i posted a link that has huge databases of logged hex codes. i bet your target is in there. 3E8A6B and there he is 3E8A6B 3147 EF-2000 EUFI GAF|TaktLwG-31[ETNN] [ETSB] ETNN 030821
when i made that post not long ago about that truly unidentified aircraft, its because A: that hexcode was not located in any of 6 databases. Thats A LOT of information. someone else found the info and it was due to a Hexcode being Miscoded. that led to a wild goose chase.
Thanks for this link. I didn't know this one... Which other databases you you know? I know these: * http://www.airframes.org/ * https://www.mictronics.de/aircraft-database/index.php * https://rzjets.net/aircraft/ (I have to admit, I didn't do my homework properly, sorry about that...)
Now I have another unidentified one: https://globe.adsbexchange.com/?ica...71&zoom=11.5&showTrace=2022-03-15&trackLabels I couldn't find it in any of the four databases in this thread. It's a large helicopter, but it was a bit far away to take pictures (and I was too slow with the big camera). Shape similar to an EC-155, but quite a bit longer. Edit: must have been one of those: Eurocopter AS532U2 Cougar (I've been reading Wikipedia: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Executive_Transport_Wing_(German_Air_Force) ) I'm a bit annoyed that I misidentified it to such a degree, on the other hand, it was about 2 km away and flying at an angle...
Then I must have made a mistake searching. Sorry... (I really can't explain why I didn't find it. I though my default search is case-insensitive, maybe that caught me)
