Not sure if this is the correct section to ask this question but here it goes... im in the process of installing my new adsb exchange dual band antenna on the eve of my roof. running lmr400 cable about 35 feet to my room . connecting it my adsb flight exchange dongles blue and orange with splitter to my pc. id prefer using a raspberry pi but they are at 400% markup due to the chip shortage. so its just for fun at the moment. using virtual radar with rtl1090 programs. anyway back to my question i want to purchase a wide back antenna and use my rtlsdr blog dongle . can i use the same lmr400 cable for both the adsb dual band antenna and a separate wide band antenna ? i don't plan to use them both at the same time . just want to know if i have to run 2 cable or just 1. i don't know enough about the splitters, diplexers, and duplexers and if they can actually be useful for my project or not. google just keeps showing tv antenna setups... any help would be greatly appreciated
You need another coax, but depending on the frequencies you want to receive, LMR240 will be just fine. Otherwise you'd have to climb up to switch connectors.
