Diplomatic missions are also flown by military planes. At least all that I know of. ;-) Basically, all government planes are usually operated by that country's military. Germany is operating a few A350s, two A340s, some A319s and a bunch of Bombardier Global Express jets to carry around members of the government. (And it appears they even use appropriate sizes for the mission, our chancellor doesn't fly the top end Airbuses to a meeting in France, she uses one of the Bombardiers. (Unless she needs a larger entourage, then the bigger plane gets used for the capacity). Hmm.. maybe I should have set that in past tense, since we have new Chancellor since a few months ago...
