Callsign and Registration don't match

    I am watching a C172. The callsign and the registration don't match. No such issue with other planes in the area. The 172 also shows as ADS-R, while others show as ADS-B.

    Any ideas what is causing this?

    The callsign doesn't need to match the registration.

    Pilots can put in the box what they want.
    (as far as the technical side goes, regulations may specify what is legal to use)
