I have assembled a Stratux kit; case with fan and two antenna ports, 1090/978 radios and the Stratux software. I liked the Stratux solution but, the interface is not to my liking and there's no way, at least that I know of, where you can feed others. Is there a way for me to accomplish feeding and or using it as a stand alone unit? By stand alone I mean that, I can take the unit with me anywhere and display the data on a browser without connecting to a wifi network and then turn around and connect to one if I desire and start feeding.
Hi I don't know a lot about stratux but look here: https://github.com/cyoung/stratux/pull/609/files Stratux is debian based and uses dump1090 so installation of mlat-client on it should work.
Here's what I did, I simply removed the sd card that contained the Stratux software. Used a new card to download dump1090 and the 978 variant. Raspberry saw both radios. I then entered the ip and saw my data on ADSBX. However, when I took the kit to work, outside of my wifi network, I could not see this data. So how can I see this? I always thought that the Raspi created it's own wifi and all I had to do was connect to it, enter the address and see the data on a browser or app. Stratux does, albeit it won't feed over the internet.
