Custom Feed Port Name

Folks,
Recently started feeding ADSBx from my PiAware setup. All appears fine and have my feed set up on a custom port.

Why do some ports have an actual name, I seem to recall when I filled in the form it asked for some station name, will my port get allocated that name or some name at some point?

I think you should wait a few days after you filled out the form. I've ever read that somewhere.

 

And I'm very behind on finding time to do it.

I did spend 8 hours yesterday building this in Go!

 

I am in no rush at all, was merely enquiring. I am quite happy with the z number.
