not sure why this is flagged FBI, in the available history it has never once circled or done racetracks. It's patterns are more indicative of Ariel photo/survey/mapping, possibly LIDAR as I have seen it up after sunset.
But I have never see FBI doing patter work like survey work.
Not sure why it was ever flagged as such.
There is minimal info on the owner, but it just does not match any previous patterns for surveillance.

    DHC-6?

Actually appears to be an aerostat. I've seen it up a couple days in a row now, and have gotten pictures of a balloon where it's supposed to be flying.

Maybe you're seeing something else, as AE6197 should be UV-18A 79-23256, of CERDEC, Lakehurst.

I've noted it flying in the Yuma region in recent weeks.

It's possible. I haven't seen anything else in the area, but a UV-18 would be hard to spot some days around here. I've had C-130s go right overhead and never seen the last few days, even though there wasn't a cloud in the sky.

PSIMPSON I replied to you about these before. I did many of them but none of work I did has appeared on the live map. I haven't heard anything from James since then so I am assuming that the database is still not connected to the map, so it's a complete waste of time making any edits.

KING Does the database still not update for this new tar1090 adsbx map? I noticed a few aircraft on this new tar1090 adsbx are now showing B77W where on the now legacy map they were still showing B773 or B772 so i believe its a different database on the tar1090adsbx. All the above that need updating where viewed on the tar1090 adsbx map.

Does anybody know if updates / edits can be done on this new tar1090 radar.
I submitted above B773s and B772 aircraft that need updating to B77W and B77L and have more ready to submit, but will hold off submitting until i know if the
new tar1090 aircraft database edit is working.
New aircraft are definately being added to database because i saw ELAL B787 4X-ERC.on tar1090

I believe that data is now supplied by PlaneBase, so there's no longer a database to edit. :(

Thank you skymaster for your reply above.
This PlaneBase! is it possible to forward my updates to them so they appear on ADSBx?
If yes how do i do it?

I'm not even 100% positive that it is PlaneBase data, but other that that, I've no idea.

tar1090 is using the database from readsb for the moment: https://github.com/Mictronics/readsb

The current database has too much crud to include it in the webinterface.
Also until i get an export from the DB guy, can't do much.

Thanks, but I'm not much wiser.

I'm happy to resume editing the database when/if it becomes possible again.

Edit: Just realised that 166106 is miscoded. Its correct code is AE2EE7.

Database has it incorrectly as H47 85-24362, which was a CH-47D. It was converted to CH-47F and re-regd 12-08113, new hex unknown.
