Hi all, I started feeling (once more) yesterday and it is working fine. When I view the map locally on my PI, is there any way to get the aircraft Im not detecting myself displayed on my map? Thanks in advance, Chris.
The local map by definition only shows what you're receiving. I'd recommend opening https://globe.adsbexchange.com/ and looking at the same area of the map. But that will only show you aircraft you're not receiving if someone else is receiving them. So that will depend a lot on your location. For some reference of how many other receivers are nearby: https://map.adsbexchange.com/mlat-map/ Not all receivers are on that map. You should also understand that ADS-B is line of sight, in other words the signal will not travel in a curve. Fog / clouds are ok but everything else will block the signal. Trees partially to fully block signals depending on how many are in the way. https://github.com/wiedehopf/tar109...range-outline-into-your-local-tar1090-display
