But doing so at over 800 knots? Unless it was an intentional demo... I guess that pilot is in trouble now. ;-)
that is super sonic the speeds exceeding 665kts , so unless he had a specific order to break Mach, yeah he is in trouble.
even in a airshow, they are not allowed to break Mach. the only time Military aircraft can break Mach over land is if a valid interception order is given, or, if a MOA ( Military Operations Airspace ) is large enough to contain the sonic boom via distance before it leaves the area and causes physical and aural damage to surrounding areas around the MOA.
