Feed name

    My feed has been ashington-5aed.f71be5_1.2 I have noticed it’s has a 26vlan added on the end it just appeared since this I have had problems with mlat connections

    _f71be5_1.26vlan is added automatically on adsbx image (last 6 digits of MAC and image version). This prevents duplicated usernames - see matrix -people don't change default.

    Use Ashington as name and it will be displayed as Ashington_f71be5_1.26vlan

    Marcin thanks for replying my mlat keeps disappearing from map but my custom feed seems to be showing mlat aircraft

    have you checked the sync statistics?

    Maybe your power supply is bad and MLAT is losing synchronization.

    Raspberry Pi Official power supply is highly recommended due to slightly higher voltage and stability.

    You can check for under-voltage like this:
    sudo dmesg --ctime | grep voltage

    But even without any errors there, the voltage might already be insufficient for the dongle, they are quite picky.

    Would water getting in to aerial give same fault

    It would result in poor reception.
    Bad range, few planes.

    If you don't have enough ADS-B aircraft in sight then MLAT might not be able to synchronize.

    I concur. Since you are running ADSBx custom image I can take a look over ZeroTier.
