Fighter sitghtings

    Do the fighters like F-16, F-15, etc. turn off their ADS-B beckons? I have only been feeding for about a month and have only seen 1. It was over Europe and not an American plane.

    It depends on country but very often civil transponders are off.

    what about combat jets but say, just regular hours and training flights stateside in the CONUS?

    I know they fly pretty regularly but i have yet to spot anything other than cargo, a random bomber or trainers like the TEX2 and the T38

    Simple explanation is that military work in UHF and not VHF.
