Flghtaware 3.6.3

Been having trouble with piware so I have started from scratch I know James is a busy person will there be an update so I can feed useing 3.6.3 eventually

I should have also asked is there a way to go back to 3.5.3

 

So this new piaware has broken other feeders?

 

It was a complete new install on my sd card I had been running the program from adsb web site.

 

Which image did you install? There are several ways people do it.

I have only downloaded flightaware 3.6.3 on sd card so if I delete it download 3.5.3 from our site it should feed both

I was useing #1 till I updated from flightaware then my orange marker disappeared from feeding map

 

So how did you install ADSBx feeder? script method?

You can keep 3.6.3 if you enable rc.local

So what did FA do .. turn off rc.local in these new images to make a bunch of things stop working?

 

James I’m sorry but I’m not very good with computers all I remember I did was download the image from adsb website from the section for people that just won’t it to work.

 

If you downloaded 3.6.3 it wasn't from ADSBx site. That would have been from FlightAware, which means ADSBx isn't installed.?

If you don't know what you did then I can't really know what is wrong.

 

So if I download this on sd card it should work even if the flightaware is 3.6.3

• All necessary customization for using Wifi and ADSBexchange “Custom Feeds” features are available simply by editing the piaware-config.txt file when mounting the image on your desktop computer.

Do I delete the the 3.6.3 or put them both on same card

 

I'm testing 3.6.3 today.

 

They are disk images, so you will download that 3.5.3 and install it over what is on the SD card.

 

Thanks for help one more thing I have putty on computer what is the password for piaware for changing settings etc
