hi everyone, I’ve recently setup a flight feeder blue box from Flight aware . I then setup a raspberry pi using FR24 to receive a feed from flightfeeder. All working. I would like to provide a feed to absdex but after reading some threads here it looks like I may of prevented access for adsbex due to installing FR24 ? Would I need another raspberry pi to install adsbex on or can it be installed on pc with Linux? Thanks Paul
You can install it on the same pi. As you are using data from another computer, there is no way for FR24 to screw up. (well at least not like that) https://github.com/adsbxchange/adsb-exchange#ads-b-exchange-setup-scripts-airplane After the setup you'll need to change the INPUT line in the /etc/default/adsbexchange configuration file to represent the ip address of the FlightFeeder. Then reboot and that should be all that is required.
Script will not install adsbx image, only feeder. To have dashboard you have to flash adsbx image to sd card, reconfigure it to use flightfeeder as data source and add FR24.
ADSBx Image is prepared to work with a local dongle. What do you mean? Pi can't boot after flashing SD card?
