Hi, it seems that my receiver is getting renamed after a few hours. When I check the map at https://adsbx.org/sync/ and search for a name (or manually zoom in on my location) I do find my station, but not under "MyName", but e.g. under "MyName_93". When I search for the name, only the new one (with the appended digits) is listed, not the original one, so it shouldn't be a name conflict with another station either. My local setup doesn't reflect this. The config files are as expected (name without the digits), and if I reboot my Raspberry, my original station name is back on the map. During operation, I see quite a few aircraft from MLAT (yellow on the TAR1090 list), so functionality is there - just not the name. What can be the cause for this? Or is it even normal? Regards edit: I just reran the install scripts and entered my station info again. I'll watch it if the rename keeps happening. edit2: This may be happening when connection to the MLAT-server is lost and reestablished: My internet connection was down for about two minutes earlier this evening, and this is also the case every night when my ISP is changing IPs on me (standard procedure with DSL around here.) Maybe each of these times, I'm back for a reconnect too fast, so that the MLAT server hasn't dropped my old connection yet and sees the new one as a duplicate?
