    Hello everyone,

Could somebody explain me, how to interpret value of GroundSpeed in MSG-Messages, which has values greater than 1000 ?

I think the physical unit should be NM/h for ground speed. For airplanes (like Cessna's) this speed is too high. Is there any numerical limit, from where i can assume, that this value is not valid anymore?

    Thanks, best regards

There are errors .. best to compare positional report and timestamp .. then calc distance traveled ... most single engine Cessna GA aircraft are below 200 kts even with good tail winds

100kts to 160kts unless Mooney or something fast
