Hi everyone! I wanted to introduce myself to everyone. My name is James, I fly a 1961 Piper Comanche, and I'll be 37 years old on December 14th! I offered to help Dan out with ADSBexchange.com, so here I am. I'm still trying to get familiar with the site, VRS, and all the goodies. I'm getting there, slowly! My desire is to spend the coming months/year improving the performance of the infrastructure as best I can. But, the real reason I wanted to introduce myself is to ask what you guys would like to see in the future. Website features? ADSBexchange specific Pi image? Stats? You can always email me james @ domain. I'll try to respond as best I can!
Hi James New image is always welcome. I started to work on it but there are so many different opinions about... IMO most important thing now is to improve MLAT server. Very often feeders from Western Europe (especially Spain) are not on sync-matrix. I can test many things on Win7, Raspbian Jessie and Debian 9. I'm always available to improve this website. Look at forum for other issues reported by participants. BR Marcin
Improving MLAT is something Dan and I have talked about a few times. It comes down to adding more processing power to perform the calculations without getting overloaded.
Hi James, I'm always available to help too. P.D.: I think maybe I'm the older person in the forum , I will be 42 in january 5th!
