    Hi,

    I want to use my microADSB instead of the RTL-SDR at the Raspberry.
    I think I need to change that one:

    /boot/adsbx-env
    # Default no serial single SDR mode
    # use # to comment out for 1090 mode
    RECEIVER_OPTIONS="--device-type rtlsdr --ppm 0"

    I also found this:
    Step 4.1 - Receiver selection:
    1 - DVBT Stick (USB) -----------------------------------------------------
    2 - SBS1/SBS1er (USB/Network)
    3 - SBS3 (USB/Network)
    4 - ModeS Beast (USB/Network)
    5 - AVR Compatible (DVBT over network, etc)
    6 - microADSB (USB/Network)
    7 - SBSx via Basestation (localhost:30006)

    ...therefore receiver 6

    Receiverdetail:
    usb-sprut__www.sprut.de__ADSB-PIC_V.10__sprut_2012_-if00 -> ../../ttyACM0

    But how to configure that at RECEIVER_OPTIONS?
    How to setup the com port?

    The adsbexchange image doesn't support microADSB.

    Use the rtl-sdr, it's better anywy.

    OK thanks.

    FYI - 3 reasons for my request.
    1) want to use my rtl-sdr differently
    2) my rtl-sdr is getting quite warm (concerned about power consumption)
    3) I expected that the microADSB receiver is better because of it's design for ADS-B (filter, bandwith,..)

    Yeah i do understand the request but i can't help you.

    The microADSB receiver doesn't give timestamps and just has very bad reception. No timestamps means no MLAT.

    We simply don't want to support it sorry!

    No problem!!
    It's a really great software. No need to include microADSB. I simply need to buy another rtl-sdr.
