Hello everybody today I have made my test between GNS antennas and the FA antenna. the conclusion is that every antenna is working fine and I do not see any big advantages between the test devices. For sure every antenna has it own pattern. For me personally it looks that the test in the laboratory can be transformed into the live scenario. For me the best thing was that the patch antenna is working extremely fine....and follows the scenario we have simulated. For me the ADS-B Patch is the best ADS-B antenna we have developed since yet. I am sure that if we repeat the test on an other place the result will not change ..we will se if we repeat the test on a place with 360° Actual the open point is the frame rate...I will prepare a test scenario real world and lab and hopefully we will show you and of course explain why the raspi can not handle so much high framerates and is loosing frames during the software processing (frame decoding) and forking In the lab it is easy to show ...but in real world I don´t have test this ...we will see. c.u.
Oh you are talking about the USB serial connection, you should have really made that clear .... If you can't use the device with a pi and get full performance that seems to limit the possible applications .....
