Hurricane Hunter in Honolulu

The NASA tracker map...link...shows NOAA's Gulfstream IV-SP (G-IV) 'Gonzo' (N49RF) as being in Honolulu.

It was last in the air on 16/17 January: ADS-B link. I'm not sure if it is a frequent visitor or this is unusual.

 

See it a few times a year out here. Where are you?

 

I'm in the UK near London.

The recent ER-2 activity led me to the rest of NASA's fleet and they include the NOAA aircraft on their webpage. I'll be on the lookout for the WB-57F Canberra in February to see where their foreign deployment takes them.

 

That Canberra is an oldie but goodie. Note to self: keep an eye on that one! Cheers!
