Greetings from an ADSBx new inductee/feeder/victim, I run a mobile setup from my vehicle. Don't ask why, just go with it. I understand why M-LAT doesn't like its sources being in motion. With FA, I use their web interface and disable M-LAT before actually going into motion. Their feeder updates from gpsd on my pi so that when I stop, I can simply re-enable M-LAT and it resumes. How do I update M-LAT settings for the ASDBx feeder from my pi? Does it read gpsd and update feeder location? Do I disable, move, re-enter lat/long somehow, then re-enable? Would it be better to disable M-LAT completely and not feed M-LAT data to ADSBx? I have only just started feeding ADSBx today, so not sure how to accomplish the same thing I do on FA, or if it's even feasible. Also, I did locate(during installation) a script to rerun the M-LAT config(? I think), but failed to bookmark it and for the life of me, cannot find that set of commands again. Any help appreciated; help already received from weidehopf greatly appreciated, otherwise I wouldn't be on here at all.
For the moment just disable MLAT. It's been requested a couple of times but was never high enough priority for me.
Understandable, as most are unlikely to run a setup in a mobile environment. I actually have a similar but stationary setup at home as well, but negotiations with the other half on cabling runs and antenna locations have stalled for the moment(ok, ok, she said no way in hell). At any rate, is there a collection of commands where disabling MLAT might be included?
Never mind, I finally found it at: ADSBx Custom Buster 1.0.0 To wit: Code: sudo systemctl disable --now adsbexchange-mlat
