    An airplane headed to Las Vegas was about to takeoff from San Diego International Airport when the pilot spotted smoke from a hydraulic leak Thursday morning, officials said. Spirit Airlines flight 359 was on the runway when the pilot noticed the problem about 9:05 a.m., airport spokesman Jonathan Heller said.
