Is it possible to see where existing feeders are?

Hi, I'm wondering if there's any info about where current receivers are located? I've looked around the site a lot and I don't seen any mention of this anywhere. I assume it's for privacy reasons, which makes sense.

But I thought I'd check, since it would be useful for things like understanding issues with tracking, or even where it'd be most helpful to place a receiver. Even if it's "fuzzed" by randomizing each feeder's location by like a mile, it'd still be useful.

How do I find stuff like this? Is there some wiki where all this is organized?

 

I read the fourm posts/help pages and just favourate useful stuff as I come across so I don't have to ask or spend ages looking for it again. If there is a wiki then I have missed it.

 

I found this https://github.com/wiedehopf/adsb-wiki/wiki, but it's more this one person's personal wiki, so it's not written for a general audience or easy to suggest changes.

I thought a wiki would save a lot of time answering the same newbie questions over and over.

 

Is feeder location randomized? At least my location about a mile off real one.

 

I believe the accuacry is reduced to 1 decimal point (1/10 of a degree)

Randomized for privacy. Only those show are those running without --privacy arg

 

Wait, are you saying that people who run with `--privacy` don't show up on the map at all, or they show up with fuzzed locations?

 

Do not show up all, else what would be the point of 'privacy'.
