    Hi

Has the map changed on the radar page mine looks different since yesterday or has their been a configuration change .

Had no aircraft showing on the ADSB Exchange map for the last 24 hours

I'm in the UK and can zoom out and see no other aircraft on the map at all

No changes to my pc set up , an alternative virtual radar wesite works as normal

    Any ideas

The map hasn't worked since the change from Google to open street maps. I've attached a screenshot showing the comparison between ADS-Bx and 360 radar. The aircraft show in the ADS-Bx list but don't appear on the map

Edit, I should say both have the Military filter set

Strange, on the list there are some aircrafts.

Just assumed it was something James was working on, it's not just the UK, if I scroll across to the states the list fills up but nothing on the map

Aircraft no longer show on the map when I'm using Firefox on two different computers. Yesterday I started off using IE and everything was fine for 4-5 hours. Now I don't see anything on the map or in the list. Clearing the cache and cookies hasn't made a difference.

Working for now with Chrome on computer #2. Have to see how long this lasts.

I think it is a bug with VRS 2.4.2 and how layers are handled.

This issue might be related to where you are looking. Leaflet continuous scrolls as set by VRS defaults, but only plots planes on one world area. Select a plane in the list and in the upper show click Show on map.

    Hi James.
While i love adsbexchange and appreciate the efforts you guys put in, i do find it rather frustrating its reliability. Yesterday evening it was all working so well i was seeing all the adsb and mlat traffic for YYZ,JFK, BOS, but now unfortunately it gone back to showing sparse traffic that is behind time.
It would be really good if you can get the traffic maps to work well 24/7. I can only think it a problem connected with the server or the feeds are not on line 24/7.
    Thank you

It's a free service. Don't like it, don't use it. I can't replicate your problem.

I don't know how many times I have to tell you to not use the web map and install your own VRS, then use the TCP feed.

    http://www.virtualradarserver.co.uk/

Direct all your complaints to VRS forum and get the dev to fix it. VRS was not designed to serve 1000's of requests a second. There's 30 servers to handle that Web UI.

While I don't doubt you are having problems.

Here is SkyView running on that B+ I built on 3.6.3 feeding ADSBx

    Here is Global VRS

Nearly identical .. screenshot taken at the same time.

ADSBx is a few seconds behind dump1090 display at most. But that could be the 5 second refresh interval vs live every second dump1090.

Made some adjustments and turned down the concurrency for global web ui servers one more time.

I can't replicate this even starting at consolidators, to the merger server, and out to the globals. We'll see if they were just being worked too hard serving flat files.

Hi James, whatever adjusts you have made have fixed the problem as i have YYZ,BOS,JFK and FRA radar maps open and all are working perfectly now.
I just hope its last., or is it a case you have to continually make adjustments to stay on top of the problem?

    Hi James,
I have noticed some JFK departures are not showing on the adsbexchange radar map.
Maybe you can do the below fix that worked well last time.
    Thank you in advance

I would recommend this, it works well - just keep VRS running in the background all the time so that the aircraft tracks build up, but this system is better than the web server

Paulg, Can you point me to a more indepth set up of VRS as i would like to try it on JFK radar map.
I have already downloaded VRS and have it running in the background, but have noticed that some JFK MLAT departures are still not showing up until the aircraft gets to about 14000 feet.
Where is the TCP feed that i need to use as i don't see it.?
    Thanks
