...just curious. I seldom reboot but after installing the ADSBx image I discovered a cron job that reboots early Monday mornings. Having said that, I do notice the memory requirements for READSB and /run gradually increasing. I'm monitoring that to see if it becomes an issue. Thanks..
It shouldn't grow indefinitely ... just some fragmentation causing a bit of growth. The adsbx image is deployed to some locations where access is complicated. There are some failure conditions this will fix. It also helps for people not monitoring their system .. if anything go wrong at least in some cases a reboot will fix it.
All I know is mine seems to be much more stable since this was implemented. I don't monitor mine (runs on Pi in the shed) and uptime is rock solid now.
