This is what happens whenever POTUS goes to Camp David.
I'm pretty sure the "Miscoded Mode-S/Hex" line in the list is an F-16.

I have been wanting to post about these. Wherever the POTUS is there is a kc-10 or 135 over head. Does anyone know what exactly they are doing? IF they are just tankers are they refueling something? Why would there not be an E6 or some other "spy type" plane if they are keeping an electronic eye on things?

    I'm just speculating here.
They keep F-16s aloft while the president is at Camp David because it's far from an Air Force base. The tankers fly around to keep the F-16s going. While POTUS is at the White House they can scramble F-16s from Andrews. In fact accidental airspace incursions over DC are fairly common and they get quickly intercepted from Andrews.
Regarding an E6, I don't think they need them in the Baltimore/DC area because there's such good radar coverage already.

Makes sense. Probably a similar concept when hes out and about through the country. I've never been anywhere where the POTUS is with a radar feed to notice if the tankers are dragging fighters with them.

And that miscoded ModeS/HEX damn sure isn't an F-16 at 58kts... stall speed in best configuration is north of 100kts.

I always wondered when the fighters are doing the high angle of attack super slow pass at the airshow how slow are they going and what is the slowest fighter there is. I would maybe think the F22 with the vectored thrust but the F18 at our airshow last year said like 95 knots I believe. I could be wrong.
