I just had an H-47 try to shake my house to pieces, and was curious where it was from and going to. Looking on adsbexchange is wasn't being tracked, but it was on flightaware. As I feed both sites, or so I thought, this is rather strange.
I just had a thought. The 3 H47s in the South of England now all have MLAT positions only. As the MLAT servers were reconfigured a while ago, I'm now in "the North". (Region 3A-1). Any flights just to the South and West of me will be received by stations in Region 3A-2 and processed by a different server. Could that be why MLAT flights don't show up on ADSB Exchange?
Post links to globe please like this: https://globe.adsbexchange.com/?icao=43c174 I'd guess that was some display issue, the QID should have a better track. Low level MLAT can well be different between FA and adsbexchange. Doesn't matter you feed both, it's how many stations there are locally and how the reception of them is.
