Can anyone tell me how the peer link quality is measured for the mlat map (the one with circles and green or yellow lines), and, more to the point, how to improve it? (I have mostly green lines but with some yellow, about normal comparing with the others, but I just wondered what exactly yellow lines are indicating)? (New feeder here, I wrote more of an introduction but I got rejected as spam )
Wish I had an answer to your question but I feel the pain of having posts rejected because the forum software thinks its Spam...it does seem more than a bit heavy handed doesn't it? My very first post was classed as Spam making me think there might be some sort of time limit applied before you could post but I don't think that's the case because 3 out of 5 attempted posts from me have had the dreaded; The following error occurred: Your content can not be submitted. This is likely because your content is spam-like or contains inappropriate elements. Please change your content or try again later. If you still have problems, please contact an administrator. I understand there has to be a balance between the ability to post easily and the time, trouble & effort to keep forums free of Spam and I feel for the Admins as it must be a thankless task but based on my own experience here and reading a few posts like yours (not to mention those who might just give up and move on like I very nearly did) it does seem a bit draconian. I'm gonna drop a line to a Mod as suggested to see if there is anything that can be done as it just refused to accept a lengthy post that took me some time to write which was frustrating to say the least. Regards, -=Glyn=-
In my case I found it was trying to say something to 'at-sign' someone, as is common in other forums etc, that was causing my post to be regarded as spam.
Mostly sync error and sync count: https://adsbx.org/sync/feeder.html?3A-1&Oxfordshire_20 Having this happen is better than dealing with spammers. But i do agree it would be nice to have some exceptions.
