    Hi Guys,

I have noticed a couple of times flights near me appear on my local dump1090-fa web portal but not on ADSB Exchange... Is there anything I can do to change this? Obviously I know you guys don't filter out traffic, I just wanted to check if there was any tweaks I can do this end to help you out.

It doesn't have anything to do with me feeding a custom port does it?

If you have ADSBx mlat-client installed then your data are send to server even if you're not feeding custom port.
If you feed FA too those aircrafts can be MLAT aircrafts with position calculated by FA.

Ah ok I would guess this is FA MLAT then as I do feed them too. I guess the way to improve MLAT in this area would be to put another receiver up somewhere else nearby? I will see if I can put one up at a family members house if so.

Thanks! Yes likely needs another receiver in the area or two.

That's odd. They should appear if they have mode s transponders.

I'm noticing the same thing, very frequently. Just watched a plane (on Grafana, showed as MLAT) leave BOS and head west in a dead straight line till I lost it over Western Massachusetts. Never showed up on ADSBExchange.

I'm using your V1.0 image and not feeding anyone else. Just curious about what could cause this.

Probably just lacking MLAT coverage in that direction ...
