Hi, I am a newbie so appologizes upfront for the question. I am working with dump1090 ; RTL-SDR usb receiver and Windows; so no Pi. I have managed to setup the windows mlat_client.bat in such a way that I am now sucessfully sending MLAT-data to ADSBexchange. What I would like to achieve is, that I will be able to receive the MLAT-data back from ADSBExchange and see this in my local VRS (with the final result that aircraft that are not sending adsb; but DO get picked-up by my receiver, will now also plot on the VRS map, due to multi-lateration data received from adsbexchange). I have gone thru the forum, and it seems the solution is to add a line to the client.bat; something like : =============================================================== "change the end of this command ( --results beast,connect,localhost:30104) to this: --results basestation,listen,31003 Then add a receiver in VRS using port 31003 and basestation format. =============================================================== But "--results basestation,listen,31003" seems to be a command for Pi, it does NOT accept this addition to my windows mlat_client bat. How can I make it work in the windows client bat; so that MLAT-data received from adsbexchange will be put thru a port on my computer, so I can pick it up in VRS? Any help much appreciated! Thanks and regards, Hans
Hi MDA, Thanks for your feedback; much appreciated. --net-bi-portxxxx; and also --forward-mlat both resulted in "unrecognized arguments". So I started to play with SBS port as you suggested. I have added "--sbs-port 30104" to my initial line in the client.bat. I then added a new Receiver in VRS; format Bas Station; Address being my IP-addres, and port 30104. Once I select this Receiver in VRS, I DO see aircraft plotting on my map, that do NOT show up on the VRS map I had created with my initial dump1090 output (those aircraft were only showing in the column to the right amongst the other aircraft, but NOT visible on the map). So this seems to work!! Many thanks for pointing me in the right direction! Rgds, Hans
Please share your setup (without position details), you're not only one who use Windows. It will help a lot.
