hi When you press any station on the map you don’t see any green colour to show whare the station has picked up mlat data anymore. Hugh
Seems like a more general problem... http://www.adsbexchange.com/coverage-2/ It zooms into a big green dot near the west-african coast and shows no data where it should... 3rd screenshot shows East US. Please be patient, sometimes results are not shown properly. Are you from western Africa?
So why do you care about traffic over western Africa? It will be fixed probably in 1 hour. There are no feeders in this area or they can't connect to ADSBx server. BTW region -2 is East US and South America. Please remember that ADSBx is not an commercial website. If you see something not working report it (as you did) and maybe try to help us to fix. Any help is welcome.
I don't care about African traffic, when I access east american traffic (coverage-2), it gives me the first screenshot, the second screenshot is just a zoom out to display where the first screenshot as been taken. The third screenshot displays no data over north america and the zoom I should have get in the first place. If you check the sidebar, there is only 2 position reports. It should be way more than that in NA and not located west of african coast... Another screenshot as proof: View attachment upload_2018-8-11_15-3-29.png Beyond that without any access to back-end it is very hard to check if data from receivers is routed and handled properly by the servers, if the software is reporting whatever kind of error...
I can't check everything, Admin role is related to forum only. I can understand your doubts but can't help you (once again sorry for that). We are all trying the best to keep this website running error-free. I can suggest you to report all those things to James directly (another few pounds in his mailbox).
I can wait... it is far from being an emergency... I was just reporting. Instead of feeding James' inbox, I report here. Everything should be reported on the forum publicly so people can see if it has been reported and feed new elements to the thread or just follow the thread to be updated. It would also allow James to breath a bid and reply in one single message instead of replying to many emails...
That MLAT map is created once an hour and that MLAT is always getting wrecked - sometimes the server doesn't make the map. It doesn't mean MLAT isn't working.
Seems like it's working now. It's not a live map. It's there for show to keep the masses placated because they love to see green and red lights with dilly bops.
