I'd like to mount my ADSB antenna near my 2M/70cm antenna. What sort of restrictions do I need to consider with how close I can mount these with their bases at the same level.

Is your 2M/70cm a TX or RX only antenna? If RX only, then at least 1/2 wavelength at 2M. If TX, then as far away as possible, and use a good filter for 1090.

Thanks for the info. Will be adding a 1090 saw filter here shortly. My antenna will be mounted around 3 ft away and about 2/3 of it will be below the level of the 2m antenna.

Got my 1090 antenna mounted on my roof. Antenna base is at 32ft with clear LOS around me minus some tall Doug Fir trees.

Such a difference! Before I was picking up a few around 65nm. Now my max observed so far is 181nm.

Plane count jumped up nicely too:

Did you check your sync stats? More peers is better and makes MLAT way more useable.

That looks Good! I'm out here in Hawaii and there are very few feeders. I sync with like 6 and three are mine, and mostly on the test bench. Sad.

Yup. I follow rich folk and military and really OLD airframes. Right now i'm trying to ID all of the MV-22B's out here, and look for the new drones that USMC is phasing in.
