Anyone have an idea what this plane or helicopter could be? It was up doing some similar maneuvers last night. The screengrab is from about 9pm est tonight. https://imgur.com/a/LgGRS4y
The database has been updated with this one and another, no updates to the database for the last 3+ months are being shown. It is one of two UH-1Ns of the 1st Helicopter Squadron at Joint Base Andrews that now have new transponders. The squadron callsign is Mussell.
Great information thank you for your help! I figured it was a chopper given the altitude and speed but you never know anymore lol.
I have three of them, and all within the past couple of months: 69-6667 AE6249 UH-1N Iroquois USAF 1st Helicopter Squadron, JB Andrews, MD in service 02/27/19 unknown location - anything to do with 74-59188? 74-59188 AE6251 U-1N Iroquois Musel 15 USAF 1st Helicopter Squadron, JB Andrews, MD in service 02/10/19 Musel 15; 02/27/19 no callsign AE624F UH-1N Iroquois Musel 12 USAF 1st Helicopter Squadron, JB Andrews, MD over Bethesda, MD 01/09/19 Mike Knoxville, TN
Following the pattern of confirmed tie-ups, this is what the codes should like for the whole squadron if they ever equip them all or turn on all of them if already equipped. AE623B 69-6604 AE623C 69-6618 AE623D 69-6630 AE6233 69-6633 this one might be mis-coded with the correct code being AE623E. AE623F 69-6636 AE6240 69-6637 AE6241 69-6638 AE6242 69-6655 AE6243 69-6656 AE6244 69-6657 AE6245 69-6658 AE6246 69-6659 AE6247 69-6661 AE6248 69-6663 AE6249 69-6667 AE624A 69-6668 AE624B 69-6669 AE624C 69-7536 AE624D 69-7537 AE624E 69-7538 AE624F 71-58277 Makes sense to be this reg, but not visually confirmed yet. AE6250 72-58562 AE6251 74-59188
