I have noticed each time I go outside to have a smoke lately that there's an older model Cessna flying in circles above our home at a lower altitude. I live near a small airport that is maybe 5 miles away but this particular aircraft caught my attention because of how often it passes above me in a short amount of time that I am outside and it's flight patterns consists of circles above. When I looked it up it shows the owner as ISR Platforms LLC and I haven't researched it any further yet. Can anyone tell me if this is an interesting flight? What are they doing up there? I am also curious if it's perhaps a drug control operation of some sort. Reason being, a few months back I noticed what sounded like another smaller-type aircraft taking off close by my home through the woods. Take offs were always at night and as soon as it was airborne all of its lights would be then turned off. I never witnessed or heard any landings through the woods, only departures. The direction of the headlights the airplane was coming from is no where close to where the local airport is located. I never seen the aircraft itself, just a light so who really knows exactly what it was but from the sound and the quick glimpse of a headlight I assumed it was an aircraft. Unfortunately I didn't have the flightaware app at that time so I never been able to identify it. Strangely though, I haven't heard a peep from this mysterious aircraft now that the N611MG has been circulating the area. Maybe I watch too many fiction movies, but here I am wondering maybe I'm not the only one that noticed that mystery something through the woods and perhaps they're doing some covert special ops up there to catch some shady people. Lol
Part of MAG Aerospace. Based on their website it could be some smuggling search, but they do have a wide array of services and equipment. They do pop up in some interesting places.
