Yeah FlightAware blue with amp and filter for 1090 is the best.

if you can get the RTL-SDR - they are really nice as well.

Do you mind if I put the latest dump1090 from FlightAware on it to see if maybe there is a bug in mutability?

 

I have a blue RTL one so I will go and get another one so any present am I feeding

Yeah you are feeding as long as dump1090 is working ... whatever is going on seems like a hardware issue ... dump1090 stays running but seems like it gets no signal

Whats your antenna connector situation look like ... sometimes water or corrosion getting in the connector can make it do odd stuff.

 

Hmm yea fails in a few minutes .. just like the one I have here that I think got a little dew on it

 

I love having zerotier on these images .. makes troubleshooting so much easier

 

It’s on the roof high been up for a few years.

 

Seems like a hardware failure, dump1090 and everything is working. But it just stops getting a signal.

 

So a new receiver might help
