Hello This week I discovered adsbexchange and love it for its good coverage of planes on low altitude. It works fine with Chrome on Windows. I want to also use it on my mobile phone. That would be of great value. As a flight instructor it offers me the possibility to track the flight of my solo student pilots. And that's where it goes wrong. I use Chrome on Android 8.1.0 and I get only maps with no planes at all. I tried removing cookies, tried the "remove all" to clear settings. No succes, still no planes. Chrome on android offers an option "destopsite" and in this mode the mobile phone connects to VR using the DESKTOP.html. Yes, now I get planes on my phone. But the formatting and sizes of the icons and text are hard to read, so this is no great solution to the problem. Your help would be appreciated. Thank you
thanks very much for trying to help me. i instaled firefox on my moto 5 and guess what: at first try there was an empty list, no planes on the map either, for about one minute. Cloesed the phone and tried again: PLANES! and tried immediately with chrome: planes as well. But frozen. Restarted the phone. tried with chrome. no planes. clear/removed mapsettings. no planes. watied for a minute. no planes. fired-up firefox: no planes. clear/removed mapsettings. yes, planes. chrome: no planes. and after 5 minutes: planes. refreshed the page: no planes. clear/removed mapsettings. no planes, still waiting one minute. refreshed the page: no planes. firefoxlanes, but frozen. restarted the phone. started firefox: planes and moving. sterted chrome. no planes. refresh, no planes. I do hope someone creates a nice App for Android soon. I tried some, such as radarwatch and plane radar. not sure where thet feed from. and adsb flight tracker. that feeds from adsb exchange. But the map and plane symbols are not user-friendly. thanks again! and best regards robert
I’m having same problems frozen on Firefox android. iPad no then worked now stopped is this only uk as Marcin in Poland is ok
the display of planes on Chrome on Android has this url: https://global.adsbexchange.com/virtualradar/MOBILE.html. This URL seems to have an unpredictabel behaviour. just now, as I write this text: it showed planes on Android/Chrome on the above URL. then I refreshed the page and: blank map, all planes are gone. That are the kind of things that happen. It seem to be not a problem of : Yes or No It also does not seem to be a problem of: it works if you use Firefox or it works if you use Chrome. It seems to work sometimes and can stop because of unknown happenings. Grtz, Rbrt
Hello to all, I love the ADSB Virtual radar and it works fine on my destop. Using it on my Android phone is no success sofar. I did many tries and test of how to use it on mu Android phone, trying both Chrome and Firefox. All it gives is a big disapointment and it delivers me no usefull stable reliable virtual radar on my smartphone. I tested the Apps that I could find for Android. RadarWatch and ADSB FlightTracker are somewhat usefull, but no top-apps. My question: does someone know if a realy good app is under development, for Android? Thanks! Robert
I do. I'm going to post a link and information as soon as Dev says I can. It's in Beta and really slick .. but will need newer device
Mobile doesn't seem to be working. Desktop is fine https://global.adsbexchange.com/VirtualRadar/mobile.html#
This is happening a lot in uk on my iPad I find if I delete the browser history and website data in iPad settings it works ok.
Open the Menu Options unchecked "hide aircraft not on map" Open the list .. click an aircraft ... click show on map ...
