Fields have different names

Id (integer) – “Unique Identifier” of the aircraft, as listed in the VRS basestation.sqb database. Likely not very useful. Do not depend on this field, could change.

Species is a database lookup and not contained in ADS-B. So get a database ...

Id?! What the shit ... use the icao hexcode .. it's unique to the aircraft ... Why do you need some arbitrary ID? Make one in your system if you don't want to use icao transponder code.

That's VRS .... REST API isn't VRS ...

All the fields are there except those that require database lookup. So see above, get a database ...

 

I apparently hit some open vein... I am just trying to convey how this looks from the outside, okay? At RapidAPI the datafields link I mention is prominently displayed. But if I get data from it, it's different from what I expect based upon the docu. You might consider adding a text that says you won't get lookup fields or whatever. I am not an aviation buff or aircraft tracking expert, have no idea where your data comes from or how it is aggregated - I am simple developer trying to consume an API for fun. And as a developer I said I was quite surprised when I tried to use this.
