Not seeing airports anymore unless i zoom in really low

I noticed this morning 15 April, that i am not seeing the airports anymore on my regular zoom setting. I am only seeing the airports now when i zoom in really low see attachments. It looks like the adsbexchange map has been updated overnight as the + and - zoom / The menu / Contrast icons have all got larger.
Would it be possible for adsbexchange to take a look into this and hopefully restore the airports for my regular zoom setting.

Unfortunately ADSBx does not control Google Maps. That would be Google, and they can be contacted at Google.com/contact

I will email Google.com/contact and see if they are willing to make the necessary adjustments so that the airports show again from the next zoom out from the top illustration.

 

It bothers me as well. Dont know why the changed it on google maps.

 

I dont like the new lables. Maybe they cannot change the maps. But this lables a awful. Frames. Even if you select an a/c the lable is still blocked. this cant be seriose.

 

The labels are clear which is good,but the maximum number of label lines i am seeing now is 2 where i need to have 3 Callsign. Aircraft Registration and Altitude.
I like the new maps which show the airports but the aircraft positions do not seem to be updating very well if at all. A lot of the aircraft are also showing the OLD STYLE AIRCRAFT MARKER, so this map and label update has left the map in a bit of a mess regarding how it is functioning.
I guess this adsbexchange map update is a work in progress, hopefully they will take on board what people are saying, and iron out the issues so that the maps work like before with these new labels. It would be nice if they could fix these issues relatively quick so that i can get back to my enjoyment of viewing the traffic.

Not seeing any callsigns and also part of aircraft are infringing on label see attachment.

We got a bill for over $1000 for Google maps, just for last week. Thanks to new Google Maps pricing.

Well ... Google Maps total bill was $4040 for last week, and for whatever reason they gave us a credit of $2900 ...

Sorry, new google maps pricing means old style maps not coming back.

Also ADSBx doesn't control zoom level for airports, that is a Google Maps, Open Street Maps ...etc .. choice to make the changes to tiles. ADSBx has no control over at what zoom level features on map tiles appear.

I'll look into the CSS for the labels.

If you want the old map , install VRS and hook into TCP stream. The cost of host this map is high in both terms of labor and servers.

 

Go to settings and change it. This is a new VRS 2.4.2. It's the same map as the custom feeds servers.

We don't develop web map is VRS. If you desire changes to VRS map then we have to take it up with VRS dev at http://www.virtualradarserver.co.uk/.

OR we have to figure out how to make changes to his code.


Marker and issues could be some issue with new VRS 2.4.2 and leaflet. Honestly VRS has the most inefficient web server I've seen in 20 years. I think it just uses the built in http from .NET.

Also the images are images and not SVG. VRS map is not a canvas, the browser renders each plane image is a separate dom element. That is insanely inefficient.

 

i just can speak for me. i was happy to have a free system with out a mil filter like FR24 and lables with 5 lines and still easy to read. i dont care about the maps. you guys told us earlier you cannot change the layout of the maps because it is from google maps. so ... f**** google maps. i can handle every maps style. but the oly style lables were much better. maybe somehow there is a chance to get them back or smaller. i keep my fingers crossed, best wishes to you, james and the team behind. thnaks for your time and your service. //tom.
