WILSON, N.C. -- The North Carolina State Highway Patrol confirmed that a small plane made an emergency landing on I-95 near US 264 Wednesday night. The unnamed pilot of N2262Q, a Piper P28-181, managed to get the plane down safely. After the incident the aircraft was towed through the streets of Wilson, NC, to the local airport. Authorities on the scene told ABC11 News a pilot was flying with a student from Alabama and heading to Wilson. No injuries were reported.
