Don't know, but it's overnighting in St Louis at the moment. Call sign later resolved to LHOB245. Went from Munich to Cristchurch to HNL so far. BTW we've had a C-17 fest here JBPHH. in the last few days. Abnormally high activity. A couple of Aussies, 2 Canadians all of the locals in the air and topped off with this one.

Don't think so. BTW, do you know if F-22's are on TIS-B while taxiing? There is a new feeder here that now catches great ground coverage and I'm seeing TIS-B hits from the Century Aloha F-22 ready line

Curiously, the Qatar C-17 was made to stay on the east end of the HNL reef runway for HOURS, and then late at night it taxied to the FEDEX ramp. It did not have privileges to park at the military side or the hardstands at the civil side. Relegated to the cargo ramps.

they shouldnt be, but i catch TIS-B's a lot for GA Traffic, never military.

The Aussie C-17's came back today, and the Qatar C-17 left for St Louis, overnighted there and is now at RAF Brize Norton for another snooze. I guess the brits are more hospitable that us Yanks at JBPHH.

The Qatar C-17 landed at the military base SW of Doha. Kind of interesting that during it's around the world trip, it only landed at airports adjacent to military airports, but was not allowed on military or civil hardstands, except for cargo ramps. Diplomatic missions perhaps?

Wiki link...Qatar Amiri Flight is a VIP airline owned and operated by the government of Qatar. It operates worldwide charters on demand and caters exclusively to the royal family of Qatar and other VIP government staff. The vast majority of its fleet is painted in the standard livery of the commercial flag carrier of Qatar, Qatar Airways.

A nice facility if you have access.

That C-17 in airline livery sure looks funny. Kinda like a marine wearing a tux during an exercise... :)
