Querying Live Position Data

I notice differences between the old API and the new API, for example :

The route for AFR83VK in the old API is reported as AMS - CDG (which is correct), in the new API : BOD - CDG (which was the previous route).

Any thoughts?

 

It uses the same data. Route is wrong in VRS database.

 

Don't get it : the two requests are executed at the same moment so route should be the same.

Route is changed from BOD-CDG to AMS-CDG on 2019-06-06 11:05 in VRS (sdm.virtualradarserver.co.uk), I also checked recent StandingData.sqb : correct.

 

We don't have access to that.

 

You mean sdm.virtualradarserver.co.uk ? That's not necessary (it's just a website) : I have access and checked it for you

I'm not sure what you mean with 'VRS database' : is this the StandingData.sqb that can be downloaded from http://www.virtualradarserver.co.uk/FlightRoutes.aspx (StandingData.sqb.gz) ?

Maybe the 2 API's are using data from different VRS installations ?
